Rooikraal Shooting Range is an accredited, privately owned outdoor range serving firearm owners, members, families, instructors and professional groups. The range provides dedicated facilities for rifle, pistol, shotgun and approved training activities.
Our focus is to give visitors a controlled setting where rules are clear, facilities are maintained and qualified range officers are present. This helps shooters spend less time searching for separate services and more time practising with purpose.
Founder Pierre Bouwer established the range in 2006 after serving as a Major in the Military Police in the South African National Defence Force. His background in policing, security, escorts and training helped shape Rooikraal's approach to responsibility and range discipline.
